Company Address Change

If your company in Thailand needs to change its registered address, you must follow the procedures set by the Department of Business Development (DBD) under the Ministry of Commerce. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

1. Prepare Required Documents

Form (Bor. Jor. 5)

Form (Bor. Jor. 5) – Application for company address change (signed by an authorized director).

Updated Affidavit

Updated Affidavit – Certified by a director.

Copy of the Lease Agreement

Copy of the Lease Agreement (if renting) or Proof of Ownership (if owned).

Updated List of Shareholders

Updated List of Shareholders (if applicable).

Shareholder Meeting

Minutes of the Board Meeting/Shareholder Meeting approving the address change.

Registration

Company’s Affidavit of Registration (Kor. 21) (original).

Power of Attorney

Power of Attorney (if someone else is submitting on behalf of the company).

ID Card/Passport

ID Card/Passport of the Director(s) (signed copies).

2. Submit Documents to the DBD

  • File the documents at the Department of Business Development (DBD) or One Stop Service Center (OSSC) if your company is under the BOI.
  • Pay the required fee (usually around THB 500–1,000).

3. Update Other Government Agencies

After changing the address with the DBD, you may need to notify:

  • Revenue Department (for tax registration update).
  • Social Security Office (SSO) (if you have employees).
  • Department of Labor Protection and Welfare (if applicable).
  • Immigration Office (if employing foreign workers).
  • Bank(s) where the company holds accounts.
